ASSISI BEAUMONT-WATERMAN

My name is Assisi, but you may know me as DC.

I am running for the Vice-President of Arts, Technology and Innovation.

By voting for me, means creating a place where we feel, we are getting the most

of what we pay for and deserve.

I’ve been a student here for 3 years and lived in the halls just as long.

I’ve experienced many of the same opportunities and struggles that you,

as returning students have had or going to have as newcomers.

So, we would know what is good about our university and

a few things that need to be improved on:

“Labs, workshop area, project room and other facilities are unavailable

on weekends and certain days. Teachers says there aren’t enough staff.”

- Students from Animation and Game Design

“Kortext can become inaccessible at times or refuses to acknowledge

the virtual books required for my course sometimes”

- A student from Journalism

Here are some of my ideas to resolve those issues and benefit

our future at UEL:

Students whom are available, reliable and trusted can undergo training

to have the authority to oversee these course specific work areas.

Events that students will enjoy, bond and raise money

to upgrade and improve the current computers.

Allowing students, the option of receiving

their books via online or paperback

I’ve heard some voices, but not yours.

I want to hear the things I’m missing and your opinions.

Vote for me and let me hear your ideas and voices. So we can make changes.

Thank You.
