What are your main priorities?

My main priorities as a student officer will revolve around promoting diversity, inclusion, equality, and student well-being. I am committed to creating opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to succeed and feel represented within our university community. This includes working to address any complaints or feedback from students regarding their experiences and ensuring that enough resources are available to support their academic and personal growth. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our university community is accessible and welcoming to students from all backgrounds. This includes supporting for the implementation of inclusive policies, supporting downgraded student groups, and raising a culture of respect and understanding. Additionally, I will prioritize addressing student complaints and feedback, ensuring that concerns are heard and acted upon in a timely manner. I will also focus on enhancing opportunities for student engagement and leadership development, providing resources and support for student-led initiatives and organizations. Central to my role will be promoting student well-being, both academically and personally, by advocating for mental health services, promoting healthy work-life balance, and addressing systemic barriers to student success. Through collaboration, communication, and dedication, I am committed to advancing the interests and well-being of all students at our university.
