1. Can I run for more than one position?

2. Can I pause my undergraduate degree to do this?

3. Can I pause my postgraduate research degree to do this?

7. What is a candidate Q&A?
A candidate question and answer session happens during campaigning (Mon 24 Mar) if you become a candidate. All candidates are asked to answer questions related to being a student officer/school representative. This is a big opportunity to show your suitability for the role and get students to vote for you.
You will need to attend both; one at Docklands and the other at Stratford.
8. Can I campaign with other candidates?
No. You are allowed to campaign with a team but you must not campaign with other candidates.
9. Can I use my sabbatical year as a placement year?
No.
10. Do I require prior experience to run in elections?
No. The most important thing is that you have the right motivations for doing the role. For example, wanting to help other students and wanting to make positive changes at the University. It is a very rewarding role, but not an easy one.
11. Will I get any funding for running my own campaign?
Yes, you will get a budget of £30.
12. Are staff allowed to vote for me or support my campaign?
No, only students can vote for you. For the school rep role, only students in your school can vote for you.
