Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s a day for friends, families, communities and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.
To mark the occasion, you’re invited to join our relaxed session designed to help students open up and build connections. If you’re feeling lonely or struggling with your thoughts and emotions, we’d love for you to join us this Time to Talk Day.
The session is all about creating a safe and supportive environment to talk about whatever you’re feeling. Our special activity means your issue or topic can be discussed by the group anonymously, helping us to have more open and honest conversation. There’ll also be resources and prompts available to help the conversation flow. Students are welcome to drop in and out during the session.
We’ll also be offering creative activities like bracelet making and mindful colouring while we chat, to reduce any feelings of pressure or anxiety during the session.
By attending our session, you’ll be able to vent about how you’re feeling, support other students, and understand how you’re not alone. As the saying goes, a problem shared is a problem halved.
This session has been developed by Stuti, this year’s Wellbeing Officer.
