Society Rewards and Recognition

Our student groups do some pretty amazing things and we want to celebrate your achievements throughout the year! 

There are various ways your student group can get recognition throughout the year. Gaining recognition is also a great way to raise the profile of your student group for the right reasons. Shouting about what's great about your group drives new memberships and increase attendance at your events. 

Here are some platforms for gaining recognition you should consider submitting nominations for:

Society Spotlight

Society Spotlight is a short online submission form that tells us what you think your student group should be recognised for. It could be a great event, an outstanding committee member who has gone above and beyond for their group, or simply reaching society goal like consistently delivering regularly sessions throughout the term or reaching a membership goal. 

Whatever you think your student group deserves a shout out for tell us and we'll make sure we shout it Loud and Proud!

Society Spotlight is open for all committee members and society members to complete.

Spotlights will be posted on the Students' Union website and in society newsletters to all groups!

Students' Union Annual Awards

The Students' Union hosts an annual awards ceremony to celebrate all the successes of it's student leaders, student groups and best events and campaigns throughout the year. 

Societies are huge part of these awards. 

Students will be able to nominate their group for awards through an online form later in the academic year, so keep an eye out for the release date.
