The Egyptian Society is a cultural society at UEL that brings together students who are Egyptian or interested in Egyptian history, traditions, and contemporary culture. Whether you’re from Egypt, have Egyptian heritage, or are simply curious to learn more, our society is a welcoming space to celebrate one of the world’s oldest and most fascinating cultures.

Our mission is to promote Egyptian culture through social events, cultural activities, educational workshops, and collaborations with other societies. From film nights and language exchanges to heritage celebrations and festival stalls, we aim to create a vibrant community where members can connect, learn, and have fun. We also work to represent Egyptian students on campus and build bridges with other cultural groups
